SUNNYCROFT - ARCHITECTURAL & GARDEN DESIGN
Sunny Croft involves three seperate projects, all based upon the same location.
Crafted Landscapes were appointed by the client to develop proposals to introduce a new Agricultural barn to the Southern corner of Sunny Crofts site ownership. The Brief was to design a building that could store Agricultural machinery, as well as incorporating a shelter for the small holding’s livestock, which includes a handful of sheep, Shetland ponies, pigs, geese, ducks and chickens.
The planning application was successful and Building works are set to take place spring 2020.
CL undertook a site survey to assess how an un inspired, open garden could be developed to add intrest and character, key issues considered were boundary screening, child safe spaces, vegtable plot, rock feature, hard standing footpaths and a patio terrace leading off of the newley constructed annexe. Concept plans included three differing options for the site, a combination of the three, developed into a fourth and final drawing.
Landscaping works due to take place Summer 2020
Shepherds Hut Design
Something a little different, a former agricultural trailer with tonnes of potential! CL took on the task of re designing the bare chassis for re use as a shepherd’s hut. The design started off with two concepts, a traditional and contemporary style, the two schemes then naturally developed into a third. The project is still at Concept stage and we look forward to updating with progress photos in the near future.
